Acoustic Ribbons which can also be referred to as Acoustic Waves are extremely efficient at absorbing sound energy in a room which in turn lowers the rooms reverberation time. Rooms with low reverberation times do not suffer from echo problems or noise issue problems.
There are three main reasons why one would use acoustic ribbons over say a flat or rectangle acoustic ceiling panel.
In general these acoustic waves are used in rooms where the ceiling height is greater than 3.5 meters.
They can be fixed directly to the ceiling using a high quality adhesive or hung using wires and fastners.
In special circumstances they can be used in rooms where the ceiling height is between 2.8 to 3.5 meters, but this needs to be discussed with our inhouse engineers.

- They are more effective at absorbing sound in large spaces, especially when the ceiling height is greater than 4.5 meters
- They are very easy to install on busy ceiling which have lots of fittings such as lights, fans, air conditioners, speakers, ect.
